Overclocking using the MOBO or a software

I was just wondering would it be better to use software to overclock or just resort to using a switch on the MOBO if your board has that capabilitie.

Software overclock can kill your system a lot more effectively than using the motherboard. Never overclock with software unless you want to buy a new system. What motherboard do you have that you want to overclock with?
