Overclocking RAM

OK, I know this is probably a noob question but here goes: I just purchased some Crucial Ballistix from Newegg and used CPU-Z and found it was running at 2-2-2-8 rather than it's advertised 2-2-2-6. How can I overclock/change settings/ whatever to get my RAM up to speed? Thanks for the help-

Change the timings in BIOS.

You may need to turn the voltage up also.
