Ok I have a old Pentium 4 2.8 ghz 800mhz fsb HT enabled. I have a Msi Motherboard (PM8M-V) and in the bios the only fbs settings are ones that modify the fsb dram and agp/pci w/e it is. MY fsb is at 230 and my cpu is stable on a couple but not all prime 95 tests. It is stable on the 1st but not 3rd (dont know about 2nd) tests in prime 95's torture tests. Can anyone give me any ideas to see if its really stable at 3.2 ghz and maybe pushable to 3.4. OH yeah and the only things I can particularly change is ram timings and mhz. The core for pentium is northwood.

As u raise the FSP so high u might want to raise the Vcore voltage in the BIOS, that might be why your CPU isn't stable on those tests.
