T Trifid Fully Optimized Messages 4,010 Nov 7, 2005 #4 Lol, don't bother installing XP on it. I ran XP for 3 days on a P3 450mhz and it was painfully slow. Refreshing a web page took nearly 100%cpu load for 5 seconds or so. When doing nothing it was around 50%.

SHAWN Field Engineer Messages 4,695 Location Long Island, NY Nov 7, 2005 #6 I overclocked a PIII450 to 600mhz stable once. It was still slow but noticeably faster. More ram does help low CPU power. At least 512 IMO.
