Question overclocking noob! help!

I want to overclock my AMD 64bit 3200+ socket 939 cpu a little bit. When i right click on my computer and hit preferences it says my cpu is at 2.01 which is freakin low! i get like 40-50fps in CSS. Specs: AMD 64bit 3200+, KN8 SLI, x1600pro 512mb, 2gb ram, 450w PSU. So.. how do i go about overclocking this a little bit? i have a stock fan that came with the cpu and would buy a better one in the future. Using Everest home edition my CPU temps is about 35c and about40-42c while playing CSS or somthing. So how do i overclock this sucker just a little bit? like maybe to 2.2ghz or somthing. I want to see a little increase in my fps. plz help, thanks guys!

Overclocking the CPU is not going to benefit your frame rates much in CS:S... The GPU (X1600) is the bottleneck at that point.

Check out ATITool - Overclocking utility for ATI and NVIDIA cards . I can't say 100% for sure if your x1600 is supported, but it worked with my X1950XT (at least in 32bit Win XP it did)....
