So, what you see in my sig is as high as I can go. From the stock 2.4 GHz to 2.52 GHz with Vcore @ 1.5v. Prime stable.

I try 2.6 Ghz, put the Vcore at 1.575v,set the RAM to 166Mhz instead of 200, and set the HTT to 600 MHz instead of 800. It just crashes even with the system on idle. But, I worked with a 939 socket about a year ago and overclocked it and when it "crashed" the system would just lock up and mine actually restarts the computer.

Could this be my problem?

It looks like your 12v rail is not providing enough power to your components to support a higher overclock. Generally your voltgages should be within +-5% anything more can cause system damage, instability or indicate a failing PSU

I'm thinking that's the problem too. I have one of those POS power supplies that comes with the case. lol

I'll probably upgrade to a Fortron 450w PSU.

Yea your power supply can't handle the overclock. When you upgrade you'll notice a huge difference.

The system on right now:
x800 gto 16 pipes 425/1050
p4 2.8 ghz at 3.08
1gb pc3200 ram ddr400 at ddr420
msi pm8m-v mobo
sound blaster live!
55gb seagate
120gb maxtor
sony dvd/cd reader

all running off that 430w'er with these voltages:
3.3v at 3.31v
5v at 5.11
12v at 12.30
5v standby at 5.14

Might have been a stupid post but just wanted you to know what the voltages were with what components so you can get an idea. Oh yeah, I dont have a case or any extra fans.

Yeah, I'm running all the stuff in my sig.

Fans are two 120mm LED case fans, one 80mm LED side case fan, and of course the CPU fan.
