Default Overclocking my 8800GTS

i just installed an 8800gts and i'm not sure what to use to overclock it. I previously used rivatuner to overclock my 7800gtx. what would you guys recommend?

Same Program..
Just make sure that if you want the most from it you will want an aftermarket cooler.

i had a vf900 on my 7800gtx but i'm not sure if that would fit on my 8800.

The only aftermarket cooler that I know of, that is compatible with the 8 series, is the Thermalright HR-03 Plus. I don't think the VF900 will fit. Actually Zalman is coming out with VF1000 for the 8 series.

Sorry, it looks like it is only compatible with the 7900s, no higher.

hey i have the same 8800 gts card but it is inno3d 8800 gts 320mb. how much memory does your 8800 gts have?

MB: Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 v3.3 F12
RAM: 2 Kingston HyperX DDR2 800MHz (4GB total)
CPU: Core 2 Duo E6320 @variable rates (will fix my fan problem soon and overclock high again)
HSF: Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme & Antec Tricool 120mm fan
PSU: Delta Serverpower 550W
HD: Seagate 400GB ST340032AS & Excelstor 80GB (both SATA)
Case: don't know what case it is but it is very crappy
Optical Drive: Lite-on 16X DVD+&- RW DL (died) using a CD-ROM drive until I get a new blu ray burner or whatever i can get

I use ATITool to overclock my 8800. It's the most stable program to use, I find.

yes, I know you might be thinking: but it's an Nvidia card.....
ATITool does work on Nvidia cards. Very well in fact.
