what i said before, i meant in these tests people were actually able to IDENTIFY the objects not just notice something out of place. but yeah, in general above say 40-60fps is accepted as smoothe video. with motion blur (like tv) 30fps is acceptable.

I understand that, I'm simply saying that's different that the whole noticing fluid motion framerate.

sorry then nubius . just misunderstood you. yeah smoothe video without motion blur would be considered 60fps+ with motion blur it is 25-30fps.

motion pictures, like movies run at 28fps, from what i have heard. this in a theater with a reel projector of course, in home format is faster i think

on pal tv the refresh rate is 60hz/30fps although i think the fps is actually like 29.97 or something stupid like that. ntsc tv is slightly higher
