Overclocking...just like everyone else...

Alright, I've been all over this forum, and I can't find a good thread on REALLY overclocking a processor. I have an amdxp 2800+ Surely there is someone who can overclock it somehow. Do you have to mess with the actual processor, or can you just go into the bios??

Grenade nobody is gonna hold your hand, your gonna have to learn it the hard way like the rest of us. i assume your defaults are:

cpu external frequency(physical)=166Mhz (333Mhz effective)
frequency multiple (multiplier)=6

there are too mny different setting because many are multi locked. try this overclock first:

cpu external frequency=200Mhz
frequency multiple=11

if it doesn't work i need to know what is your multiplier locked at or which you can use. here is more info:
