Overclocking an Intel E6750 - Asus P5K

Hello,

I have absolutely no experience on overclocking at all and dont know if the same principles apply to most motherboards. I have an intel E6750 and an Asus P5K motherboard and want to overclock the CPU.

I have asus AI suite which allows me to overclock through AI booster but have no idea what would be safe and how to change voltage etc..

I have looked around the search engines but couldn't find much useful information and wasnt sure about the specifics of overclocking. I have an intle reference HSF and want to overclock to about 3ghz?

Any help would be much appreciated
