Overclocking help

i got that processor yesterday from tigerdirect, and i ordered a zalman cnps9500 led, what would be a stable speed to overclock it? what parts should i put in for my build, and trade PCs and give this useless one to my sister and trash her useless P3 1200mhz

Ok the comp in your sig is far from useless. As far as overclocking your new CPU, overclock until it's unstable. No one can tell you when it's going to be unstable or not.

ok with my cooler i got it up to 3420 mhz (380 X 9) i could probably go more but thats enough speed for me, plus it might become unstable..... later i'll try out for a 4000mhz, doubt i'll make it....
