It's not nearly as large so it retains some form of portability. and the 9600m GT isn't a bad mobile either.
The gpu is way less powerful, the gateway is a much better deal.

I'm just trying to find something smaller and cheaper. Thats a lot of cash for a laptop IMO and 17inches is too big, again IMO.

Laptops with a similar gpu cost upwards of the 2K range.

Its a gaming laptop...its meant to have a big screen.

Its not a lot of cash considering its an 8800M GTS 512, which is about equal
to a desktop 9600GT. The cpu is also user upgradeable....its the best bang for your buck gaming laptop out there.
