Hi, I have a eVGA 6800gt 8xagp card, and after some overclock trials, I can conclude that it doesnt o/c very high :(. I was wondering what the causes are that make a bad overclocker. Is it cooling? heat? cause im pretty much sure the cores are all made the same. My 6800gt is idle at 59-63degrees, which may be a problem, hence im planning on buying a aftermarket cooler :D.20

My 6800GS is around those same temperatures, 1-2ºC lower at the most. I have it at 490/1200. I hear they can go up to extremely high temperatures, much higher than that, although it doesn't sound like a good idea. So I wouldn't say that the heat would be a factor in the overclock. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you besides it just isn't that good of an overclocker. It would help if you posted the overclock increments so we could judge it, though.
