Overclocking

Hi I am thinking of "overclocking" my computer.I was originaly quite suspicious of the idea but I read some where that the manufactures actually have one type of processor that is capable of a variety of different speeds and set ones at higher speeds than others and charge more to pay for them.I have a Intel Pentium M 1.6Ghz processor and would like to know what a safe speed would be to overclock it to.I will be very gratefully of any advice.Thank you!

my advice to you is read the stickies at the top of this page.

No one can tell you or even estimate what speed a processor will overclock to..Every chip, every motherboard, every users skills are different.

isnt that a laptop? if it is i dont think u can overclock it and even if u can i wouldnt but if its a desktop u just have to find out for urself
