on my previous windows xp home ed. , i got up to 2.8 on my x2 w/ my fsb at 255. that wasnt very stable so i toned it down to 250x11 fsb. that was perfectly stable. then i deleted all my stuff off of my hd and installed windows xp pro and also downoaded my amd dual core drivers. now i cant get past 2.6 ghz, which is about 235x11 fsb. i had the volts up to 1.5, but that didnt do anything. any suggestions?

golden orb isn't the greatest of cpu coolers. perhaps you are having instability due to overheating.
