Default Overclocking

Any one overclocked an intel pentium 3 @ 933 mhz/ 133MHz fsb. I can't get it to run stable past 1.08 GHZ

Yes I did try that, and it still wont run stable past 1.08GHZ with proper cooling.

check out www.overclockers.com , i saw there that people had over a 1200mhz speed on that chip most topped out at a 30% overclock. <- That's a good sign!

Anyways, as any cpu overclockers' goal, you want to basically gear towards raising the fsb rather than the multiplier, but if the fsb is pushed too high is can make it very unstable, although you could end up with the same speed by lowering the fsb and raising the multiplier and it could come out very stable, but you have to find the means between it. You shouldn't have to raise the vcore too much on that chip though, but what do I know, I've used amd's since the little sperm broke into my egg.. what a sad day that was =/ hehe
good luck
