hey i today in winter when temperatures of my pc were cooler than ever....i tried overclocking my core2duo e7500 on my gigabyte mobo. With aircooler only i changed the settings in my bios and achieved it....

I am trying now for 3.6GHz if the stability is ok. Or i would revert to this only....its great....

For your processor, this is completely unnecessary and the result will not change. The only thing that can appear more often is the blue screen.

What result? The fact that it will be a bit faster at doing things? BSOD wont occur more often provided the OC is stable, these chips will commonly hit the high 3Ghz range provided you have a decently binned chip, good cooling, don't need a high voltage to maintain the OC, and have a good motherboard.

This. I was able to get around 3.4 on my old e6750 back in the day, rock-solid stable.
