At 3.4 my temps were around 60 during 14hrs of Prime. At my current pace of 3.6 my temps maxed at 68 after 12 hours of Prime; however, the room was rather muggy and I was too lazy to put the ceiling fan, stand-alone fan, or AC on lol. Prior to discontinuing Prime I added some air circulation and temps reduced to 65 (was still fairly muggy). I have yet to see any errors or BSODs. Are there any settings I should adjust for better performance? What adjustments could I make to hit 3.8-4.0 without overstressing the cpu and temps? *Update: Last night I bumped up host frequency to 193, Vcore .05v (now at 1.39375) , VTT +50 (now at 200mv), and QPI PLL at 1.125. This clocked me at 3.8, but raised temps to about 72-74 after just 1hr in Prime (no errors or BSODs) and worried about future temps scaling during summer.

Thank you for assistance!

change EVGA VDroop to Without VDroop
Disable Turbo Mode
Set CPU Host Frequency to 200
Set CPU Uncore Frequency to Auto

Thank you for the help. The changes you recommended brought me to 4.0, but within 3 mins. of Prime my temps rocketed to 81 on RealTemp while ELEET showed the cores at 76-78 and cpu at 64. Should I just back off down to 3.6-3.8 for 24/7 use or should I play with settings such as Vcore, VTT, etc? Thank you again for the help, very much appreciated

I would play with the voltages, you should be able to lower the Vcore a little now that your running Without VDroop,

Time for an update. I played with the voltages a bit by incrementally lowering Vcore from 1.34375 to 1.29375 and ran Prime for 12+hrs without any errors or BSODs. Lowering Vcore to 1.24375 resulted in an auto reboot after 8hrs +/- of Prime and random system boot freeze. 1.27500 didn't result in any system boot problems and ran Prime with no errors for only 2hrs, but decided to adjust Vcore back to 1.29375 (assumed safe zone). I lowered VTT from 150 to 125 and anything lower than 150 caused system boot freezes. I also lowered the CPU PLL from Auto-1.800 to 1.500, QPI PLL Vcore from Auto to 1.125, and tRFC from 77 to 74 based on a few recommendations in forums and guides.

I then ran Prime for 14hrs without any errors, BSODs, or system boot freezes with these numbers;

Last stable OC as of 1/10/12 @ 4.0
Temps under 100% Load; RealTemp: 69 max, ELEET Cores: 62 max, ELEET PCU: 49

Frequency Control;

CPU Multiplier ( 20X )
CPU Host Frequency (Mhz) ( 200 ) [4006Mhz (200x20)]
MCH Strap ( Auto )
CPU Uncore Frequency ( Auto )
CPU Clock Skew ( 0 ps )
Spread Spectrum ( Disabled )
PCIE Frequency (Mhz) ( 100 )

Memory Feature;
Memory Speed ( Standard )
Memory Control Setting ( Enabled )
Memory Frequency ( 1067MHz / 2:8 )
Channel Interleave Setting ( 6 Way )
Rank Interleave Setting ( 4 Way )
Memory Low Gap ( Auto )
tCL Setting ( 7 )
tRCD Setting ( 7 )
tRP Setting (7 )
tRAS Setting (Auto-24 )
tRFC Setting ( 74 )
Command Rate ( 1t )

Voltage Control;
EVGA VDroop Control ( Without VDroop )
CPU VCore ( 1.29375v )
CPU VTT Voltage ( +150 )
CPU PLL VCore ( 1.500v )
DIMM Voltage ( 1.650v )
QPI PLL VCore ( 1.125v )
IOH VCore ( Auto-1.100v )
IOH/ICH/I/O Voltage ( Auto-1.500v )
ICH Vcore ( Auto-1.050v )
PWM Frequency ( 800KHz )

CPU Feature;
Intel SpeedStep ( Disabled )
Turbo Mode Function ( Disabled )
Intel HT Technology ( Disabled )

My question during Prime is during testing of 8k I would get an example readout of:
[Jan 11 11:04] Test 18, 800000 Lucas-Lehmer iterations of M143361 using FFT length 8K.
The final readout: [Jan 11 11:05] Self-test 8K passed!

All other test phases were standard (example):
[Jan 11 10:47] Test 15, 7800 Lucas-Lehmer iterations of M9537183 using Pentium4 type-2 FFT length 640K, Pass1=640, Pass2=1K.

Is that normal? I don't remember if that stayed true at 1.39375 to be honest, but everything passed Prime.

Sorry for the long read, just trying to be thorough.

I've never noticed any different messages, but I really don't pay them any attention unless they say fail, and I usually run LinX for stability testing. When I'm performing a heatsink review I'll usually run LinX and Prime95 so that everyone can choose which set of numbers they prefer.
