well rite now none of the pci express cards out FULLY utillize the whole potential of pci-express... so im thinkin u shud stick with AGP and just upgrade the mobo and graphics card like 2 years down the road .. because ur 3500+ will be good for games for quite a while

So it's not worth it you to get the nvidia nforce 4 chipset this late october and a PCI E video card to match?

Is there a performance loss with current PCI E cards compared to the AGP ones?

Cause already having a PCI E mobo would be really nice to have down the road for when they utilize this new technology more. That way I wouldn't have to buy a new mobo and current video card for it down the road.

Future PC Specs:

DFI LP nForce 4 SLI-D
nVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX
AMD 64 X2 3800
WD Raptor 74 Gig
Thermaltake Black Tsunami Tower
Thermaltake Hardcano 12
Metalic Blue Ultra X 500w PSU
Plextor black DVD-R
