Opions Needed on my Future/Ultimate PC build

True. Everyone goes through different things when it comes to comps. Sure, you ge probs, but you also get experience at the same time. I guess that what YOU want is all that matters.

Well on OCing the MSI Platinum got higher stable marks then the other boards did.

I looked at the Thermaltake cases. But I don't like that they don't offer a floating board mount like the Chenming has. Also I like how the Chenming has 90 degree angled mounts for the hard drives.

And 4 80mm fans should keep the case running pretty cool.

Which reminds me, who makes the best 80mm fans in your guys opinons?

Also do the Hardcanos display the temp of the CPU or just the hard drive?

Ive heard a lot of good things abotu this motherboard.. it is more expensive but ive heard ppl say that its worth the extra money... personally im saving up money for a new computer (got about 2 weeks worth of paycheck before i finally have enuff money.. like around 3 grand canadian lol).. and im going with that motherboard myself.. but if u want something more budget concious go for the abit:

it has much better overclcking options and i think is a better performer than the msi .. but thats just my personal opinion

EDIT: if by best u mean the one that cools the most were talking about vantec tornados they have hte most cfms (around 80 on their 80mm model).. but tornados are hella loud.. so you should get a fan controler to control the rpms of the tornados u add to ur system.. and if ur lookin at cooling u shud also consider aftermarker heatsinks and heatsink fans for ur cpu... i would suggest the following combo:

use this heatsink:

Wow that heatsink fan looks amazing!

But damn is it expensive!

Especially combined with that heatsink!

I was originally planning on just getting a Thermaltake Venus thats made for the AMD 64 cpus, but that fan and heatsink is very tempting.

yea i knoww.. im such a damn inpulse buyer .. lol lookin over the specs of the pc im about to build.. im almost spending 500 bux canadian on aftermarker mods lol.. if i were to spend that 500 getting a fx-53 over the amd 64 3500+ i plan to get it would be a wiser invesment.. but noo i gotta go for the flashy stuff lol

Yeah I really am an Impulse buyer. Makes me glad I am not building this for 2 monthes.

Most of you don't seem to like my case choice very much so what else would you reccomend?

I want a mobo tray, 90 degree angled hard drive racks, a window, metalic blue color and something that can take fans.

You guys wouldn't happen to know of a better case like that would you?

the Antec Super LANBoy is a good case has the 90 dergree harddisk racks a window and has case fans an its a silver colour but looks really good, a friend of mine got one for his new computer a month or so ago and i have to say, i was impressed, its a very good case

It is a pretty nice looking case, but I am not really feeling that front acrylic light job. Call me picky, but it looks a little too tacky.

But I never get tired of hearing other peoples opions!

lol i guess im lucky in that respect, if i had a cc i would be buyin so much stuff online i would max out in 5 min lol but fortunatly (i guess) i have to use my dads cc and he'll only let me buy stuff that he thinks isnt "worthless piles of crap"

Alright so I am going to go with the Ultra X 500w PSU and the Tsunami Case. I am going to stick with the MSI as all the comparisons reccomended it.

Now is there anything else I am going to need or change?

When are the 939 socket MOBOs with PCI Express going to be out? I have heard late october are there any dates for the nforce 4 chipset?
