Re: Tech Forums Official SuperPi 1M Top List

Why though? Its multiplier will still only be 8.5x.. which is still not that great

yeah dude its supposed to be like the same price as the 9450 is now. which is 330 @ new egg.
dont worry about buying my e8400 unless you really want to. i can sell it on ebay for what i paid for it, or real close to it anyways ;)

475 x 8.5 = ~4ghz.
im happy. lol. im never happy with computer stuff. i always want something newer and better and different.
so, the next time i say "i'm happy" with something, remind me that it is a lie.

Re: Tech Forums Official SuperPi 1M Top List

4.0ghz everyday use seems much easier with an 8.5 multi yorkfield, than a 10x multi q6700... and its 5-10% better clock for clock... why not???

i've got me a new x38 that loves fsb... so why not give it a run :)
