I think Nvidia has improved their drivers twofold. With highly overclocked 7950GTs and an X2 4200+ at 2.9GHz I couldn't get this high. I think my max was around 7.5 with that setup. Those were pushing 600+ per core too and 512MB VRAM a piece. Course most will probably say this is old who cares, but I like to see how far software has come in raw performance because it shows in older hardware. These are using the 306 drivers which are the latest that support the 7950GX2.

Hrmm, it appears 3dmark06 is retardedly cpu dependent.. because my dualy gtx 770's got a lower score than this with a 4.4ghz 3770k

Yea, it's been well known that it is for years. It's a shame it wouldn't finish @ 5GHz for me.
