I have the Biostar P45, a great board, I highly recommend it. Failing that there are some good low cost p35s still out there.

lol... uuber high end rig with a p45... i think not... 8x pci-e lanes when running crossfire... not a smart choice

hey guru... on a scale of 1-10 how hard was it to vmod ur 4850... i'm thinking of buying one.... heck maybe 3... lol...

i've never used a soldering iron before.. ever in my life...

i didn't do any soldering. I just penciled the resistor.

All you need is a pencil and a multimeter. On a scale of 1-10 it's probably a 1 or 2 (easiest)

If the memory was the issue, i wouldnt be able to put my 680i back in and run perfectly fine. If the memory was the issue, i would at least get a post error, the board wont even post, even without memory installed.
