he's only getting on 2.75ghz on stock voltage, but he's too busy with COD4 to be overclocking lol

Veedub... do you notice a difference in real world performance when you run your q6600 at 3.0 ghz or 3.6 ghz?

Honestly I did not notice a difference when i had mine at 3.0 from when i had it at 2.4 probably because i am easily impressed with it already. It's chilling at 2.85 atm pending mobo arrival.

haha yeah vern's right, i can only get it stable at 2.75, but thats just upping the dohickeymabobber, fsb thing. so yeah i haven't really tried, but i put down my stock scores and am seeing where i can get to on full oc which will probably be this weekend when i get some time and my new cooler. (just running stock intel atm, quite a bit embarassed...) but yeh at 2.75 its fully stable and hit just below 10k in 3dmark06 so thats a good sign. hella better then my old amd/ati rig

Heh i'm actually running it at stock 2.4ghz just because ive only been playing wow lately. Running at 1.15v

The low clock speed is really hurting your score....@ 3ghz you should get close to mine.
