It was pretty chilly this morning, 28F, so I bumped up my gpu overclock

P11,659 | Slaymate | i7 2600K @ 5.0GHz | GTX 480 2-way SLI @ 800/2000/1600 | W7 x64 | ORB

Seems like a low OC on the GPU side, or do the 480s just not clock that well?

Stock is 700/1848/1401 so 800/2000/1600 isn't that bad. I have clocked it up to a 825 core speed with SLI disabled but it won't go that high with SLI enabled.

I had the same problem with my old 280s. It didn't make much sense to me at all.

I'll update this with more scores later, finally got MSi Afterburner modded and working so I can run higher clocks on muh smexy card. I feel like I'm getting pretty low numbers, I've got my 2500k at 4.8ghz and my 6870 at 1075/1250 but am only pulling out around 5k. which is less than Gurusan with a lower clocked cpu and an older gpu.

All depends on drivers, system setup, background tasks, ect. Look at it this way, you should technically be higher than me too, but I'm 5.2k.
