Default ocing question

I read that amds are not very good with high latency ram for overclocking, (such as DDR 500, which I'm getting). Is it true? If it is, what do you recommend for very smooth ocing?

No. You can buy low latency RAM @ DDR500.

If you can get your DDR500 @ 2-2-2-5 timings it will be lighting fast.

Here's one (may be possible):

DDR400 2-2-2-5 = DDR500 3-4-3-8
DDR500 3-4-3-8 > DDR400 3-3-3-8
DDR500 2-2-2-5 >est

Doesn't make that much a difference. If it saves $$ get the 3448.
