OC'ing my 4000+

I think this sounds like a RAM problem, otherwise its a dodgily made core and it really doesnt like being overclocked! If you have RAM of different makes or types remove one and switch all RAM to auto and see what happens, as I can only hit i silly low speed with 2 sticks of RAM becuase ones a kingston stick.

I mean you can't OC them any more than 2.9Ghz, I have a 4000 and I've OC'ed it many times, tried everything except phisically messing with the mobo (soldering) and I couldn't get it pass 2.9Ghz. So I went to AMD's forums and read a post on the site where it said there is a factory limit on how much you can OC it(not talking about the multiplyer lock).
 
well i guess they can. I was just stating what it said on the forums. good find...now im gonna have to see if i can do that
