Default OCed X2 and OCed Opteron

Ok just kinda confused in my research. I saw that Opterons OC like monsters compared to X2. But is X2 perform much better that Opteron? For example:

AMD Athlon X2 3800+ 2.0Ghz 512Kb Cache
AMD Opteron 146 2.0Ghz 1Mb Cache

If both OCed, which will perform better?

AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Venice
MSI K8N Neo4-F
Palit Geforce 6200TC 256Mb
2x512Mb SS Corsair Value Select
160Gb Seagate SATA

the opteron 146 isnt dual core while the X2 3800+ is.

you should mean the opteron 165. It will OC more than the X2 3800+ and also got a bigger L2 cache so would perform better.

Well if both of them were OCed, the dual core would be better for multitasking and dual core things while the other one is better for single core gaming. But yeah, like baronvongogo said, you should be comparing the 3800 X2 and Opteron 165
