OC My Amd Athlon 2500+

Ok so under load my Athlon 2500+ runs at about 53/54 for CPU and then about 40 for the case (This is in C). I'm running stock cooling and dont really want to purchase an aftermarket cooler as that will just set me back from making money for my new case (unless if I buy one of those that fits them all :x but thats another case...)

I was wondering how much could I safely over clock it to start with and by what incriments to go up by. I'm supposed to stop when my load makes my CPU go to about 60C correct? Any help would be appreciated.

Is that under load? If so you might be able to get 1 or 2 more incriments of 1. If not, and that is idle...stop right there, that's getting pretty hot.

Yeah thats underload. Idle is usually mid/low 40's

i overclocked mine to 2800+, 2.0GHZ, and my temp didn't go higher not even 1C
