Default o/c q6600

hey my temps on my quad with tuniq are 40 idle 53/54 load. how much can i go up to? and are these temps good or bad since this is my first time installing an aftermarket cooler with as5 and not sure if i did so properly

Just try to keep it, under 60C. Or give the AS5, some time to cure. Maybe the temps will go down a little, after curing. I think those temps are expected, out of a quad core, since they do output, a little more heat.

For temperatures, I heard the program to use is Core Temp, and it's very accurate. I use Everest.

I use Intel Thermal Analysis Tool... I don't know if anyone else has tried that..

i know temps but how do i know if its stable? alternative to memtest.

Mem test just checks to see if your ram is stable... if you want to check if your CPU is stable you can use Prime 95, or orthos.

Oh, theres stress programs such as Orthos, Prime95, and I think it's call StressCPU2, to test the overclock's stability.
