I have two 200gb seagate drives...one says its formatted as ntfs on the c drive and the d drive is fat32...whats the difference and should i put them both in the same style and then raid it...also how could i go about raiding them ...thanks

I would recommend NTFS.NTFS is more stable and more secure than FAT32.To do a RAID does your mobo support RAID?or you want to go with a software RAID?

in the least, fat32 is worthless, you should not even bother with it unless you plan on using it with Win9x machines, or install a Win9x OS
NTFS is the way to go, better security, supports compression, encryption and various other features.

ntfs is a microsoft file system, ive heard certain versions on linux cant read ntfs, not sure if thats right though. when ur setting up a raid ul have to format both those drives and it will format them in the same file system for sure.
