Northbridge Cooling Fan

Dad told me my freezing problem could be my chipset overheating. So I got one of these:

As well as another fan and now I have 2 in, one out.

Problem is, I don't know how to get the original heatsink off... Its got two clear pin looking things that have springs around them... Kind of hard to explain I guess.

Anybody know what I'm talking about and know how to help me?

you have to remove the motherboard and push the pins out from the back
