specifically... is 60C a normal temp for a GTX275 CO-OP Edition? currently, and for the last hour, my computer has not been doing anything demanding, not folding, I watched a movie an hour ago. pretty much that's it. I manually turned the fan up to max, and that's my temp... not maxed it was just purely getting to hot for my tastes *70's*... but the GTS250 in the card stays at around 41C... kinda confusing?

That is rather too hot - shouldn't be above 50C idle, really. Made sure there's no dust in the card?

Heh, well glad we could help :p I'm guessing your temps have gone down as a result? :D

Honestly, 60c actually isnt to hot. These cards are meant to be able to withstand a load temp of up to 103c and then it will start to throttle after 105c. So if your idle is 60 and it goes up to like 80 load its still fine. It will just heat your room up real good.

what prgoram do you use to know what your GPU temp is?

i use SpeedFan for my CPU temps, is there a similar program for the GPU temp?
