o but about the eVGA Geforce video card.
i heard that the radeon is just uncomparable and is a must for gaming.
is it smarter to go with the eVGA Geforce?

aspire, do you really think that computer would even power up with that ****ty psu?

and plus, the price difference between the 3200 and 3500 is too much, u can just OC the 3200 to 3500 speeds and upgrade the gfx to x800xl

its an antec, heres a customer review

I've had one of these babies for over two years now, and it runs just fine, despite all the stuff I hook up to it. I have an AXP1700+, a Radeon9800Pro (and sometimes a TNT1 in a PCI slot when I'm feeling saucy and have 3 screens available), 3 PCI cards, two HDD's, two CD/DVD writers, four case fans, some CCFL's, and a couple USB devices. I've had no problems with it, and it's very quiet. The only "maintenance" I've done to it was opening it up a few times to blow the dust out. (Disclaimer: Don't ever touch the capacitors, and don't let your kids try to eat it!)

But seriously, though. It's a great product, and it's amazing that this 330W PSU can handle what some cheap-o 500W monsters can't.

power supply you plug everything in your computer to it its like a silver box with a bunch or cable running out of it that you plug into your mobo, your fans, your hard drive, your graphics card, your cd drives. it may not sound like its important but if you dont have a good one it could fry your system

*edit* ya but you can overclock the 3500+ to 4000+ speeds

What you want is what dale suggested, but here's the links

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (winchester) $190
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...103-502&depa=1

DFI Lanparty ultra-d UT nf4 ultra mobo $140
http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...136-152&DEPA=1

ATI X800 XL $299
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...102-509&depa=1

NEC 3520A (black) dvd-rw drive $52
http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...152-035&DEPA=1

WD SATA 80 gig $59AR
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...135-106&depa=1

OCZ Modstream 450W $73AR
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...104-154&depa=0

MAXTOP Case $37
http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Produ...82E16811150017

COrsair XMS $162 (is this good or not? i dunno)
http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...145-450&DEPA=1

and maybe a cpu cooler or something..meh?

edit: an AXP is NOT a 64, a 64 requires at least 22a@12v (or was it 20 or 24), and a 9800pro is NOT an x800xl
