Default Newb memtest86 q's

How long should memtest run before you know your mem is stable. I ran it for about 8-9 hours with 29 passes with no errors with the specs in my sig. No errors, should I try lowering my timinings to see what I can get out of it?

If you can run it 8 or 9 hours straight I'd say its good.

3 hours is probably ok as well, even less....

When i was testing some ram errors appeared within the first 10 seconds, it didnt take a long time for errors to show up.

personally, i've never gotten a memory error 2 hours into the test. my errors have always shown up at least within the first 30 minutes. 5 hours is a really safe bet probably

yeah, so 2 hours or 2 passes through, whichever comes first is a good safe bet

my personal experience is that if ram is going to error (from overclocking) it will error before 40% through the first pass. 8-9 hours is stable. go ahead and lower the latencies.
