Hey guys, just built my computer 2 days ago and I wanna overclock my are the specs

Motherboard- EVGA A1 775 Nvidia nForce 680i SLI ATX
GPU- EVGA GeForce 8800GT Superclocked 512MB

Default Re: New to overclocking...Please help! 70, you're pushing it as is. Many systems shut down around 80 to 90, so you may be able to squeeze a little more performance out of it, but wow, it's running pretty hot already. How is this thing cooled? You might want to add some more fans or something if it's running at 70C.

It's running hot because its a super clocked edition don't bother OCing it people say its only an increment of 50mhz.
