Like the title says...I'm new.
Current setup is in my sig.
Anyway my question is about the XFX 6800GS XXX edition. I got one of these for the awesome price of 140 shipped. I OC'd it from 485/1100 stock to 515/1280....and it ran fine for about 30 min (playin openGL games) then the screen got all garbled (artifacting?).
So I rebooted and went down to 500/1200 and it ran fine for about 30 min again (in Q4 and q2) and then it just froze. Now I put it all the way back to stock and haven't had any problems.
I 've been logging temps and they haven't gone past 70c full load. Is that too much?
Also I have 1 gb mushkin enhanced performance. Will I be able to overclock to 2.2 or 2.4 with this memory or am I better ditching it for something better?
