Specs are in my SIG, however I have done some overclocking in the past to a AMD Athlon XP1800+ Throughbred Core and it ended up in me having to flash the CMOS cuz nothing would work, This computer I just finished and I paid around 1200$ I really want nothing to go wrong, I saw someone in there sig having a 939 AMD 3200+ not sure which core but he was @ 2.7, now that is crazy. Anyone have some noob guides for this or some advice tips tell me how to do it. Thanks a lot.

Resetting the CMOS is not 'having something go wrong' thats a normal part of OC'ing.....
at the top of this is stickied two guides for overclocking so start there. The one by 'Kangaroo' is a bit older and applies to mainly K7 systems, however I've also provided a link in the thread "AMD64 OCing" which leads to a good AMD64 OC'ing guide so start there.
