Default new computer

i don't know anything really about computers, and i was hoping to get some advice. my budget is $500 usd. this is the stuff i'm thinking about getting...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813152052 -mobo
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103537 - cpu
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16820144309- memory
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822145082 - hard drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102417 - graphics card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827140117 - combo drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811164057 - case

give me your opinions on this. if there's something better for the price, or cheaper, let me know. this will be mainly for gaming (just call of duty) and downloading/burning music and dvds...

For some reason all the newegg links take me to weird sites like www.mobo.net and www.cpu-central.com o.0

Very nice build, should do just fine. If your doing just said above, no problems.

What size are you looking at? For 120mm Panasonic Panaflo and Sanyo Denki fans are the best of the best, and for 80mm, the Vantec Tornado will move the most air

Investing in a better heatsink for your CPU or GPU would be a more noticable investment if you are looking towards lowering temperatures. Both the Arctic Silencer and XP-90/XP-120 are good products.

Generally, one front intake and one rear exhaust will be supplementary if you aren't overclocking, but of course your ambient room temperature would be the most important factor to take into consideration

i'm not overclocking, and my house is always really cold...like a hospital =P...usually around 70. but with a name like cooler master, that should make it cool enough.
