Need Tweak Assistance

Hi, i just bought a new 7600GT, upgrading from an Integrated 6100. My pc current specs are Amd 64 3400, 1 gig ram.

I want this new card to be effective and i want my pc to run wonderfully. I was wondering if there was a way to lik upgrade the performance of my card some how, or even my pc. I do not know anything about how overclocking works, or how safe it is.
so please i need some help

If you don't know anything about OC'ing, then don't attempt it. Read about it for hours on end - until you think you know about it. Then, read for a few more hours. Then you should be all set.

OC'ing really isn't that hard, it just takes a lot of time and patience.

If you want a little more performance out of your machine, do the following:

Install a firewall (such as Zonealarm (Free)).
Install anti-spyware and anti-adware programs.
Install an anti-virus program
Use tweaked videocard drivers ( www.omegadrivers.net )
Keep your machine dust-free
Install any recent Windows updates


That should help you keep your machine running ship-shape.

I already do have anti spyware, adware and virus softwares. Currently use, Kaspersky anti virus, spybot and ad aware pro. I guess ill have to just stick with what i have then.
