ok i have a logisys 500 watt clear gamers edition power supply i paid 45 for it. its got single rail 25 amps i figured it would be plenty but now since i have gone from a 6600gt to a power hungry x850xt my system is really lacking power and also my 5 volt rail which powers my cpu is also only running at 4.2volt so thats not good i need a good power supply that will power my system so i can overclock my cpu and video card some more and also lower my memory timmings. no more than 80 bucks and it must be name brand i dont trust generic bad expierence rosewi**** sucks

antec truepower 500W power supply :D

There is no Antec True Power 500 watt version for less then 80$, At least on newegg.

Prehpas you mean the smart Power? and is you did mean the true Power the one I found in his price range is only 430 Watts.

GuitarFreak: That PSU you reccommended is between 108$ and 139$.

Guys, can't we stay within the customers price range he said 80 and that is enough to reccomend a good power supply.

So As this is my job,

Antec is always a smart choice, go with that one.

well i found a prettty good power supply ive been looking at on newegg and it has 19amps on both 12v rails and 40 amps to the 5v which is what my cpu runs off so i will be able to rasie my fsb from 220mhz to maybe 228mhz then ill be right above 2.5ghz, yes it is 97$ shipped! but its worth it.i mean if u want to overclock high and have a stable system u need to spend like around 100$ on a psu and thats a fact lol, and also i think i will buy a ocz dimm booster along with this and actually run my memory from pc3500 now to pc4000 then i should be getting a good bump in bandwidth lol, but thanks for all the help
