I have an older AMD Duron currently collecting dust, so I figured "Why not boot it up and overclock it?" In all honesty I have never tried to OC a computer because I am afraid I will fry it. Here are the SPECS to the computer I want to overclock:
AMD Duron (socket A) :: 850 Mhz ::100 FSB
Chaintech Mobo ::Chipset= VIA kte133+686b :: Model= 7aja2e
256 mb Ram
That should be sufficient info for overclocking but if not feel free to tell me what you need to know. The processor is currently running smooth and stable at about 44 degrees celcius. Now my question is "how would I go about overclocking this? What tools do I need?" Thanks to all who help-
