Need Help on new videocard

This is kinda new for me so i need some help.
My current system is:

GA-81PE100OPRO2 ( I THINK THATS WHAT IT IS NOT SURE)
Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2
RADEON 9000PRO (WANT TO UPGRADE)
WESTERN DIGITAL 120GB SATA HARD DRIVE
PIONEER 16X DUAL LAYER DVD BURNER
SOUNDBLASTER AUDIGY 2 ZS
CREATIVE INSPIRE 5200 5.1 SPEAKERS

The only thing thats bothering me right now is i want to get new video card but its hard to make a choice with the range thats out there, my budget is somewhere around AUD$550 i saw a good price for a GA-X800PRO NON VIVO edition but people always said non vivo edition is not reconmended. Im after a quality video card around my budget nvidia cards are not my type but if anyone can suggest a good reason for it then i wont hold back.

Nivdia are great cards man...Same with ATI, both are absolutely great. I dont suggest the X800 pro, any other X800 is good.

the first two cards u showed me i kinda had in mind except my paltform isnt pci-e soi dont know how much better would i be off with those first 2 cards in agp mod.

Yea if you don't have money for a new mobo or whatever might want to stick to AGP. Well I converted your money, 550 AUD = 425 USD. So the 3rd card codeine posted. This one:

All the cards besides the XL come in AGP also. The Sapphire X800 XT is a very good card man. I have the X800 XT Platinum Edition, havent played alot of games yet. But never experienced lag.

Your going to see a huge increase from a 9000 man.. The XT is one of the best cards out there. Consider yourself luck.

Is your mobo PCI-e ????

for 550 AU.. u should be able to pick up a 6800GT on sale from somewhere. They retail for about 680 but ive seen them cheaper. otherwise a MSI diamond edition 6600GT Extreme for 350 would be just as nice.

my mobo is agp, i dont mind getting a medium end one like the sparkle 6600gt but i dont know how well it performs.
