Need help with my new vantec tornado

My vantec tornado is running fine and noicy
I try to turn it down with my new fan controller but doesnt do anything

i think the problem might be -the 3 pin fan connector that came with it to plug to the motherboard only has a yellow wire and not all the other colors it should have to actually (control) the speed.

Right now the 3 pin is hooked to a extension to the controller and also the MB so i can read the readings-each time i try and turn it down nothing happenes so im gessing thats the problem.

If any of you know how to rewire or know what i should do to try and get it to where i can control it it would be very appreciated

the Black and red wires that i think are supposed to go with it are connected with the power thing somehow

the controller needs to have the red and black wires from the tornado plugged into it. you might have to get an adapter for 4pin molex to 3pin fan connector

it would be alot better if you took some pictures.
