I'll be simple and quick. I need a board, (cheaper the better) that can take a celeron d 430 to 5ghz. With a 9x Multi, that'll mean that I'll need to hit around 560 FSB and can do around 1.8~1.9 volts, vdroop included. Also the NB can't blow up while I'm doing it.

Looking for recommendations, of course the biostar p45 that's always recommended comes to mind, but looking for some other recommendations.

I need a credit card ;)

Sad part is I got a 50 dollar gift card to best buy which i will NEVER use and I could have gotten 50 cash instead :(

Aite, I'm probably gonna try and order this weekend, or go get it this weekend. So I've got it narrowed down to a few boards that I'm thinking/hoping will work.

MSI P45 Platinum -85

ASUS P5Q Pro -70

BIOSTAR TForce TP45HP -70

DFI LANPARTY DK P35-T2RS -78

again, I need high voltage and high FSB. Any advice would be great!

the P5Q pro won't go much above 500
so you won't hit 5Ghz

EDIT: ~500 with C2D, but I guess I don't know with celeron....

yeah I've gotta hit like 555/556 fsb to get to 5ghz. And it's a Conroe-L core, which is based off of the c2d architecture so they will clock about the same.

The DFI is a good board but 550mhz is close to the maximum fsb I have seen from a p35 so you probably would be better of with a board that has more headroom.
