Last week those NB loop clips some manufacturers use busted off and my NB has been creeping my CPU temp up to 65. So i thought i would replace the cooler while sorting them out
-I kinda have the same problem... the clips on my fan make it really loose.

Sorry for starting the most boring + confused thread ever ;)
Problem solved.

still its the same 39 c for nb is fine min nb runs over 50c too

Yes 39C is fine but clearly it isn't cool enough for my NB to process two SATA II drives. Do you have NB-controlled RAID?
Also is possible my NB has suffered damage or is a poor quality component, etc, etc.

i have a feeling your problem willnot be solved

^^You were right :D

Installed. Very fiddly install, poor instructions. If you had the same chipset mounting holes distances referred to in the instructions you would think the instructions were perfect.

Added that fan on the right, and another fan elsewhere (4 case fans). Yes I'd say the case fans saved 10C and the new heatsink did nothing (lol) but thankfully it is silent, and the case fans are really quiet Thermaltake fans.

Goodness knows why my RAID is not working. :(
