well the 3700 would be better for gaming is the first thing you should know. The 32 or 64 bit makes hardly any differance its all about frequencies cach and architecture

the thing is that the amd notebooks use more power and are more powerful untill u get to the 2.2ghz centrinoes or so. but for gaming the grfx card makes up for that. The reason that the centrino is clocked lower than other intell chips is that it has more cach at 2mb while the amd only has 512kb (you say 1mb but i can;t say i've ever heard of an amd with 1mb l2 except for the fx

yea thats true the 6800 is better than the 6600 but how much more would it cost him?

need laptop, dell doesnt offer things like gaming companies do and im not too sure about the quality of ibuypower... i hear some good reviews and i hear some bad reviews so im not really too sure what to think.

dell's XPS are gaming laptops

sure i hate dells a lot, but i've heard their laptops aren't bad for the price

yeah i agree, but still... not too sure... im aiming for 15.4 " screen and not too heavy and not too bulky
