I have recently made the move to SLI with my GTS 320s since i got a low price for the second one, but i am slightly anxious over whether or not my power supply can handle two GTSs in SLI, since nvidia recomend 26A per GTS and mine provides only 22A per 12v rail, and i have 2 rails...which is shared by the fans, HDD and gfx cards....
I dont know if it will be a safe config to keep for long term use either...
do u think 44A total will be enough to power 2 GTS 320s, 2 SATA drives and the fans on my Antec 900? i dont plan on overclocking any time soon either.
I think i may have minimised the risk, though, since along with my card came a 6pin to molex adaptor for my card, where you connect 2 molexes up to the 6 pin adaptor for my GTS so half the GTS's power comes from one rail and half from the otehr rail for both my cards....will that help?
