I was thinking about getting a AMD Athlon 64 3500-939 pins, but it is more expensive than the 64 3400. Which one is more worth it?

The 3500+ is well worth it. Always go for socket 939, because socket 754 is quickly being outdated. If you dont have enough money for a 3500+, go for the 3200+ socket 939.

yeah, basicly, what ive told you is the general models etc. Like ive put down a EVGA nVIDIA GeForce 6600GT , but a Powecolour, or Sapphire 6600gt will do fine. Also, make sure you get a AGP model of the 6600gt. A good range of 6600GT's are at http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/ .
