If by auto you mean 1 to 1, then yes.. Since I don't know what auto is for that board, auto for my board is 2:1 . So I have to set it to 1:1 manually..

Set the SPD to 2 in the BIOS...that's the 1:1 ratio, and should allow you to go higher. Auto is not a 1:1.

so 1:1 means the ram clock and fsb must be at a ratio of 1:1?
so if the q6600 fsb is at 1066, i must overclock my ram to that?
is that possible with good temps with ballistix 800?
